A Bridge Too Far Backstory:
In the throes of a fierce global conflict, Axis and Allied forces converge to dominate key bridge systems vital to their war efforts. Control of the main bridge is crucial, as its possession could significantly impact the course of the war. Each side must battle to seize the bridge, capture the central flag, and ultimately claim the enemy’s base, marking their strategic victory over this critical location.
Mission Objectives:
The battle kicks off with the forces positioned on opposite ends of the grand bridge. With substantial ground to cover, strategic advancement is essential, particularly for initial control. The central objective is to capture the flag hanging from the bridge’s framework. Once secured, the flag must be escorted to the opposing team’s start base to signal victory and control over this pivotal area.
Game Zone and Rules:
- The play area is demarcated by yellow boundary ropes. Crossing these boundaries leads to elimination, with offenders sent to the designated dead zone.
- The dead zone is clearly marked in red and will be pointed out to all participants at the game’s start.
- Gameplay lasts for 15 minutes followed by a brief on-field break before the second round begins. Players should carry sufficient ammunition for both rounds, as there will be no return to the safe zone mid-game.
- Teams will alternate roles as Axis and Allies in successive games.
- After both games, players will regroup in the safe zone for a more extended break before moving on to the next zone.
These structured objectives and rules ensure a fair and thrilling reenactment of wartime strategy and conquest.
